Job Description - Fund Manager - PMS Equity

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 10-15 years overall | 3-5 years in Fund Management

Role Overview:

We are looking to onboard an experienced PMS Equity Fund Manager with a strong professional pedigree and a proven track record in managing discretionary equity portfolios. The incumbent will be responsible for managing PMS equity strategies, ensuring consistent alpha generation while adhering to regulatory and risk frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage PMS equity strategies, including portfolio construction, capital deployment, rebalancing, and ongoing performance monitoring.

- Drive risk oversight and ensure portfolios are aligned with product mandates and investment philosophy.

- Deliver consistent risk-adjusted returns (alpha) across market cycles.

- Ensure compliance with SEBI PMS regulations and internal governance standards.

- Take end-to-end ownership of portfolios, including performance attribution and strategy review.

Candidate Profile:

- 10-15 years of overall industry experience, with 3-5 years of hands-on fund management experience.

- Proven experience in managing discretionary equity portfolios under PMS structures.

- Demonstrable track record of performance and scalability in portfolio management.

- Strong domain knowledge of equity markets, portfolio construction, and risk-adjusted return strategies.

- Sound understanding of SEBI regulations governing PMS.

- Fund Managers from leading PMS / AIF platforms.

- Professionals from boutique investment firms.

- Fund Managers associated with AMC-affiliated alternate asset management platforms, with direct portfolio ownership experience.
