Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Functional Lead to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis, stakeholder management, and functional consulting skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions. This role requires excellent communication, documentation, and project coordination capabilities to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business goals, challenges, and functional requirements.

- Gather, analyze, and document business processes and requirements in a structured manner.

- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for development teams.

- Work closely with technology teams to design solutions that address business needs effectively.

- Recommend practical and innovative solutions aligned with business objectives and technology capabilities.

- Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

- Communicate complex technical concepts in a simple and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.

- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including:

1. Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)

2. Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS)

3. User Stories

4. Use Cases

5. Process Flow Diagrams

- Support project planning by defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and effort estimates.

- Collaborate with Project Managers to monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.

- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and solution validation.

- Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements, quality standards, and user expectations.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend best practices across business processes.

Required Candidate Profile:

- 12-14 years of experience in Business Analysis, Functional Consulting, or Functional Leadership roles.

- Strong experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.

- Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.

- Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams.

- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall project methodologies.

- Hands-on experience in preparing BRDs, FRS, User Stories, Process Flows, and Use Cases.

- Experience in project planning, estimation, risk management, and solution validation.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

- Knowledge of BPMN, process mapping, and business process optimization.

- Exposure to enterprise applications, digital transformation, or large-scale business systems.

- Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Scrum certifications are an added advantage.
