SAP PP Functional Consultant / Solution Architect

Role Overview:

As an SAP PP Functional Consultant / Solution Architect, you will serve as the primary bridge between complex manufacturing business requirements and robust SAP solutions. You will lead end-to-end implementation projects, working closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical developers to design scalable architectures that optimize production planning and execution processes. Your work will directly influence operational efficiency and supply chain agility, ensuring that our clients leverage S/4 HANA capabilities to drive digital transformation and achieve seamless production workflows across their global manufacturing footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and configure end-to-end SAP PP solutions within S/4 HANA environments to align with specific manufacturing business models and production strategies.

- Lead complex SAP implementation projects by translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications, ensuring solutions are scalable and future-proof.

- Facilitate seamless integration testing across SAP ECC and S/4 HANA modules to ensure data integrity and process continuity throughout the supply chain ecosystem.

- Partner with business process owners to identify pain points in production planning, capacity scheduling, and shop floor control, delivering innovative solutions that reduce downtime and improve throughput.

- Provide expert-level guidance during the cutover and hyper-care phases, ensuring a smooth transition for end-users and minimizing operational disruptions during go-live.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in configuring SAP PP, including MRP, capacity planning, and production execution, with a deep understanding of the transition from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA.

- Proven ability to design and document complex functional architectures, backed by 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle SAP implementations.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical business leaders and influence project outcomes.

- Strong analytical mindset for troubleshooting integration issues and optimizing cross-module workflows between PP, MM, QM, and FICO.

- A collaborative approach to working in a hybrid environment, demonstrating the flexibility to engage with distributed teams and global clients effectively.

- A professional degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, complemented by a track record of delivering high-impact manufacturing solutions.
