
Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Finance and Controlling modules to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO, including at least one full-cycle implementation.
- You will play a critical role in the design, configuration, and enhancement of SAP FI and CO modules, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules like SD and MM.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Possess comprehensive functional knowledge of SAP FICO modules, including FI-General Ledger (GL), Asset Accounting (AA), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Special Purpose Ledger, and Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) rules.
- Lead and participate in at least one end-to-end SAP FICO implementation project, covering requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Work closely with the technical team to design and implement custom enhancements and developments within SAP FICO.
- Prepare detailed Functional Specifications Documents (FSD) for complex developments, ensuring they align with business needs and SAP best practices.
- Experience in integration and working with e-Invoicing processes will be considered a significant advantage.
- Facilitate and manage the integration of SAP FI with Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules to ensure smooth transactional flows and accurate financial postings.
- Understand and troubleshoot cross-module dependencies and transactions impacting Finance and Controlling processes.
- Provide functional expertise in SAP Controlling (CO) including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, Profitability Analysis (COPA), and Revenue Recognition.
- Support business users in configuring controlling-related processes and reports.
- Work collaboratively with ABAP developers, providing support with debugging and functional clarifications.
- Basic familiarity with ABAP debugging is essential.
- Utilize ASAP methodology to deliver projects effectively and efficiently.
- Experience working with ALE, IDocs, EDI, and interface configurations is highly desirable.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore/onshore resources.
- Document business requirements, functional specs, and provide training/support documentation as needed.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid onsite/offshore delivery model, collaborating with global teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
- 7+ years of hands-on SAP FICO functional experience, including 1 or more full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong experience in FI-General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Special Purpose Ledger, and EBS.
- Solid understanding of Controlling modules: Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, COPA, Revenue Recognition.
- Experience in preparing detailed Functional Specification Documents for enhancements and developments.
- Knowledge of e-Invoicing and related compliance processes (preferred).
- Familiarity with ABAP debugging, ASAP methodology, ALE/IDocs/EDI interfaces.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with onsite/offshore collaboration
