About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Functional Consultant Incentive Compensation (Varicent ICM) to design, configure, and manage sales compensation programs.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Sales Incentive Compensation processes, hands-on experience with Varicent ICM configuration, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable compensation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather and analyze business requirements related to Sales Compensation / Incentive Compensation plans

- Design, configure, and implement compensation plans using Varicent (ICM)

- Execute compensation cycles, including calculation, validation, adjustments, and payouts

- Manage data integration, transformation, and reconciliation processes

- Collaborate with Finance, Sales Operations, and IT teams to ensure accurate plan execution

- Perform UAT support, defect resolution, and production support activities

- Prepare documentation including functional design documents, BRDs, and process flows

- Ensure compliance with financial and audit requirements

- Provide continuous improvement recommendations for compensation plan optimization

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 8 to 10 years of overall experience with strong exposure to Sales / Incentive Compensation

- MBA is a must

- Hands-on experience in Varicent ICM configuration and cycle execution

- Strong understanding of compensation plan design, quotas, crediting rules, and payout calculations

- Experience working in the Financial Services domain (preferred)

- Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliation, reporting)

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in end-to-end Varicent implementations

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts

- Ability to handle multiple compensation cycles in parallel
