Role Overview:

We are hiring a senior Functional and Domain Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong experience in Trade Finance systems and Cash Management / Corporate Banking platforms. The role will support a large banking transformation program by working closely with business users, IT teams, and product vendors to design, implement, and stabilize solutions.

This is a functional role focused on domain expertise, requirement translation, and solution validation not development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the functional SME for Trade Finance and Cash Management systems

- Lead requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders

- Translate business needs into functional specifications

Provide domain expertise on:

a. Trade Finance: Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Import/Export, Collections, Guarantees

b. Cash Management: Payments, Collections, Liquidity Management, Virtual Accounts, Host-to-Host integrations

- Work closely with Trade Finance and CMS product platforms during implementation and enhancement phases

- Support solution design, gap analysis, and customization discussions with vendors and system integrators

- Review functional designs, test cases, and UAT execution

- Act as a bridge between business, IT, and vendor teams

- Support go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation stabilization

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- 12-15 years of experience in Corporate Banking/Transaction Banking

- Strong hands-on experience with Trade Finance systems

- Strong hands-on experience with Cash Management / CMS platforms

Deep understanding of:

- Trade Finance operations and workflows

- Corporate payments and cash management processes

- Experience working on banking transformation or digital banking programs

- Strong communication and functional documentation skills

Preferred Background:

- Ex-bankers from Trade Finance or Transaction Banking

- Product SMEs or functional consultants from banking transformation programs

- Experience working with large Indian banks or global banks

Contract Details:

- Initial duration: 6 months (high possibility of extension)

Location: Mumbai

Start: Immediate to short notice preferred
