About the Role:

A leading e-commerce company is looking for a highly driven and entrepreneurial Warehouse Head to lead end-to-end operations of a large customer-facing fulfillment center in Mumbai or Pune. The role is responsible for ensuring seamless warehouse operations, inventory management, last-mile fulfillment, customer satisfaction, quality compliance, cold chain management, workforce leadership, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end warehouse and fulfillment center operations across the assigned location.

- Drive operational excellence by improving productivity, inventory accuracy, and service levels.

- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment while meeting delivery SLAs.

- Oversee last-mile dispatch coordination to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, quality, and cold chain compliance.

- Manage workforce planning, hiring, training, performance management, and employee engagement.

- Drive continuous process improvements through automation, technology adoption, and operational best practices.

- Ensure facility maintenance, workplace safety, statutory compliance, and regulatory adherence.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Category, Technology, Procurement, and Customer Experience to improve business performance.

Candidate Profile:

Experience:

- 17 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, E-commerce, FMCG, Manufacturing, Consulting, Retail, Startups, or related industries.

- Experience managing teams and delivering operational KPIs in customer-centric environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from a reputed institution.

- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a leading business school is preferred.

- Experience working in startups or rapidly scaling organizations is highly desirable.

- Exposure to managing large warehouse or fulfillment operations is an advantage.
