FC Head - Bhiwandi

Role Overview:

As the FC Head , you will be the driving force behind our operational excellence, overseeing the entire spectrum of day-to-day logistics and warehousing activities. This pivotal role involves leading a high-performing team, optimizing processes from inbound inventory management to outbound dispatch, and ensuring seamless coordination with various internal stakeholders including supply chain, technology, and customer service teams, as well as external logistics partners. Your strategic leadership and hands-on approach will directly impact our customer satisfaction, delivery speed, cost efficiency, and overall business growth, ensuring that our promises to customers are consistently met with precision and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage all aspects of Fulfillment Center operations, ensuring efficient and timely processing of orders to meet stringent service level agreements.

- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize inventory management, warehouse layout, material flow, and resource utilization for enhanced productivity and cost efficiency.

- Cultivate and mentor a large team of FC professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, continuous improvement, and accountability to achieve operational targets.

- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives by leveraging data analytics and best practices to identify bottlenecks, reduce errors, and enhance overall operational quality and speed.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including supply chain, procurement, sales, and technology to align FC operations with broader business objectives and support new product launches or initiatives.

- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, compliance standards, and company policies within the Fulfillment Center to maintain a secure and productive working environment.

- Manage the FC budget, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports on operational performance, cost analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

- Oversee vendor relationships with logistics partners and service providers, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness in transportation and last-mile delivery.

Required Skillset:

- MUST HAVE A MBA FROM TIER 1 OR 2 COLLEGE (PEDIGREE CANDIDATES ONLY)

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment operations, with a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and inventory control principles.

- Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities, with a proven track record of motivating, developing, and managing diverse operational teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting complex data to drive operational improvements and make informed, data-backed decisions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, external partners, and senior management.

- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant operational technologies, with an ability to leverage technology for process optimization.

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience while maintaining a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
