Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage Diesel Generator (DG Set) projects in the Gurgaon and Delhi/NCR region. As a key member of our growing infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in expanding our network of DG Sets, ensuring seamless power solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering DG Set projects, strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the local market and dealer network.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation for DG Set installations.

- Oversee all aspects of project execution, from site surveys and installation to commissioning and testing of DG Sets.

- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to FuelBuddy's quality standards.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

- Manage relationships with DG Set dealers, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in the projects.

- Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of materials and services, adhering to FuelBuddy's procurement guidelines.

- Effectively communicate project updates to internal teams, management, and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns promptly.

Technical Expertise:

- Possess a strong understanding of DG Set technology, specifications, and applications relevant to FuelBuddy's operational needs.

- Provide technical guidance to the project team and resolve any technical issues that may arise during project execution.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in DG Set technology and implementation.

Risk Management:

- Identify and assess potential project risks, including technical, logistical, and regulatory challenges.

- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions to projects.

- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, escalating critical issues as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and progress reports.

- Prepare regular project progress reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and mitigation plans.

Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards during project execution.

- Promote a safe working environment for the project team, contractors, and FuelBuddy personnel involved in the projects.

Qualifications:

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing DG Set projects, specifically in Gurgaon or Delhi/NCR.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering DG Set projects of varying sizes and complexities, ideally within the fuel or power generation industry.

- Strong network of contacts with DG Set dealers and suppliers in the region.

Skills:

- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

- Strong technical knowledge of DG Sets and related systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to manage diverse stakeholders.

- Proficient in project management software and tools.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
