FuelBuddy - Assistant Vice President/Senior Manager - Fuel Supply Chain

Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned petroleum industry professional who can lead FuelBuddy's nationwide fuel sourcing and procurement operations.

The ideal candidate should possess deep relationships across India's petroleum ecosystem and be capable of ensuring uninterrupted diesel availability through strategic supplier development, commercial negotiations, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute pan-India diesel sourcing and procurement strategy.

- Build and manage relationships with OMCs, fuel dealers, private terminals, bulk distributors, traders, and transport partners.

- Identify and onboard new fuel suppliers across India.

- Negotiate commercial agreements covering pricing, credit terms, supply commitments, and service levels.

- Ensure uninterrupted fuel availability across multiple geographies.

- Develop a scalable supplier ecosystem to support business expansion.

- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Technology teams to improve supply chain efficiency.

- Drive cost optimization while maintaining supply reliability and regulatory compliance.

- Manage supply disruptions through proactive supplier and stakeholder engagement.

Ideal Candidate:

You should have:

- 12-20 years of experience in Fuel Procurement, Petroleum Distribution, Fuel Supply Chain, Petroleum Marketing, or Commercial Fuel Operations.

- Strong understanding of India's petroleum supply ecosystem.

- Proven experience in bulk diesel procurement and commercial negotiations.

- Established relationships with OMCs, fuel dealers, transporters, depots, private terminals, and industry stakeholders.

- Experience managing multi-state or pan-India fuel operations.

- Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of fuel pricing, procurement economics, and supply planning.
