Job Title : Fixed Income Front Office Analyst

Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience

Work Timings: Availability required from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET

Role Overview:

- The Fixed Income Front Office Analyst will work closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Technology teams to support fixed income trading and portfolio management activities.

- The role requires strong domain expertise, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with front office systems and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

- Act as a front office business analyst supporting fixed income trading and portfolio management functions

- Partner closely with Portfolio Managers and Traders to understand trading strategies and operational requirements

- Support order management and portfolio management systems used by front office teams

- Analyze fixed income instruments including Government Bonds, Treasuries, Sovereign Debt, Corporate Bonds, Municipal Bonds, MBS, ABS, and Structured Products

- Assist in security selection, portfolio construction, and asset allocation for fixed income portfolios

- Support hedging strategies and risk mitigation activities across portfolios

- Monitor portfolio performance and support rebalancing activities

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technology and development teams

- Participate in testing, validation, and implementation of front office system enhancements

- Ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and integrity across trading and portfolio platforms

- Support regulatory, compliance, and audit-related data and reporting requirements

- Manage and track deliverables, timelines, and dependencies for front office initiatives and projects

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of fixed income trading concepts and market dynamics

- Hands-on experience working with front office trading and portfolio management applications

- In-depth knowledge of fixed income asset classes including bonds, securitized products, and structured instruments

- Solid understanding of fixed income portfolio management processes

- Experience working with vendor systems such as Aladdin and Bloomberg

- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and reporting

- Experience with Snowflake data platforms is desirable

- Excellent business analysis and problem-solving skills

- Strong verbal and written English communication skills

- Ability to collaborate effectively with traders, portfolio managers, and technology teams

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced front office environment

- Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience supporting global fixed income desks

- Exposure to large-scale front office transformation or system implementation projects

- Prior experience working in investment banks, asset management firms, or financial services organizations
