Frido - Demand Planner

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Demand Planner to lead demand forecasting and planning across our product portfolio. This role will play a key part in shaping our supply chain strategy, driving forecast accuracy, and ensuring supply-demand alignment in a dynamic D2C environment. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of demand planning principles, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Forecast Ownership:

- Lead the development of robust, data-driven demand forecasts at product, channel, and region levels, incorporating business inputs, historical data, market trends, and promotional activities.

Strategic S&OP Leadership:

- Drive the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, presenting forecast insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and aligning stakeholders on demand and supply strategies.

Inventory & Supply Alignment:

- Collaborate with Supply Planning, Procurement, and Operations to ensure inventory optimization, efficient replenishment, and minimal stock-outs or overstock scenarios.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Act as the key liaison between Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams, ensuring that demand plans support broader business objectives, including new product launches and channel expansion.

Analytical Excellence:

- Utilize advanced analytics to track forecast accuracy, identify demand patterns, and improve planning effectiveness.

Process & System Improvement:

- Lead initiatives to enhance demand planning tools, reporting dashboards, and processes for improved scalability and visibility.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field

- 4-8 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain roles, preferably within a D2C, consumer goods, or ecommerce organization

- Proficiency in forecasting and planning systems

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset

- Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and driving planning excellence in a fast-paced environment
