Job Overview: The North Sales is a senior leadership position responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth and market share across the West region. This role involves overseeing the entire sales and marketing functions, managing a team of professionals, and collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives. The role's core functions are: - Formulate and implement sales & marketing strategy in line with organization mission, vision and goals - Create & develop distribution channel in line with the growth objectives - Increase sales & market share in enterprise & government market through partners - Lead North Zone sales. - Sell to CPWD (Central Public Works Department) and PWD (Public Works Department) government sales. - Handle project sales Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Execution: - Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy aligned with the company's business objectives - Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust strategies accordingly - Set clear and measurable targets for the sales teams. Sales Leadership: - Lead the North Zone sales team to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals - Develop partner & distribution channel - Generate & convert adequate Sales pipeline, Drive all necessary processes, SOPS, dashboards. - Provide guidance and support to regional sales managers in developing and executing effective sales plans - Foster a sales culture focused on customer satisfaction, relationship-building, and exceeding sales targets Marketing Management: - Oversee the development and execution of marketing plans, including advertising, promotions, events, exhibitions and public relations - Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling marketing campaigns and collateral - Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and threats Leadership (Team Management): - Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team - Set performance expectations, conduct performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback - Foster a positive and collaborative work environment Cross Functional Collaboration: - Collaborate with other departments, such as product development, finance, and operations, to ensure a unified approach to market strategy - Communicate effectively with senior management to provide updates on sales and marketing performance and challenges Customer Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders - Ensure a customer-centric approach in sales and marketing activities Budget Management: - Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives - Monitor expenses and return on investment to maximize efficiency Performance Analytics: - Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze data to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies - Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: - B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science/Electronics & communication), MBA in Sales & Marketing - Proven experience (12+ years) in a senior sales and marketing leadership role, preferably at a North Zone at regional level - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills - Strategic thinking and the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans - Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
