About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our lending products and merchant onboarding experience. This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of two key business functions, requiring a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of fintech, lending, and B2B user experience. The ideal candidate will be a customer-centric leader who can navigate complex technical, business, and regulatory requirements to deliver best-in-class products that drive growth and merchant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Strategy and Vision: Define and articulate a compelling product vision and roadmap for both our lending products and the merchant onboarding journey. This includes identifying market opportunities, understanding user pain points, and aligning with overall business objectives.

- End-to-End Product Ownership: Take ownership of the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization. You will be responsible for defining key metrics, monitoring performance, and iterating on the product based on data-driven insights.

- Lending Product Management:

1. Develop and manage a portfolio of lending products (secured/unsecured).

2. Optimize the lending journey, including application, approval, disbursement, and repayment processes, with a focus on speed, transparency, and user experience.

3. Stay abreast of lending industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.

- Merchant Onboarding Experience:

1. Lead the effort to create a seamless and efficient onboarding experience for merchants, from initial sign-up to full activation.

2. Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, compliance, risk, sales) to reduce friction, improve conversion rates, and decrease the time-to-first-transaction.

3. Ensure the onboarding process is scalable and adheres to all relevant KYC, AML, and other regulatory requirements.

4. Optimizing the merchant onboarding funnel with AI-powered tools, and dynamic, personalized user flows.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a central point of contact, influencing and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including engineering, design, data analytics, sales, marketing, compliance, Bank and senior leadership.

- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform product decisions, define success metrics, and communicate the impact of product initiatives.

- User Empathy: Champion a deep understanding of our merchants' needs and pain points, translating these insights into innovative and effective product solutions.

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of building and scaling products.

- Specific experience in fintech, digital lending, or UPI is highly preferred.

- Demonstrated experience in managing merchant-facing or B2B products, particularly related to onboarding or lifecycle management.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to define and measure success.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product strategy and build consensus.

- Experience working in an agile development environment.

- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering); an MBA is a plus.

- Knowledge of the regulatory landscape for lending and payments is a significant advantage.
