Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Accounts Manager with over a decade of experience in managing end-to-end accounting, taxation, and compliance functions. This role requires strong leadership, excellent technical expertise in accounting software (Tally ERP), and the ability to manage statutory compliance, audits, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the finance function, lead a small team, and ensure smooth financial operations while aligning with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Accounting Oversight:

- Lead the accounting function and supervise day-to-day financial transactions.

- Oversee journal entries, sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and reconciliations.

- Ensure accurate ledger management and timely month-end/ year-end closing.

- Review and finalize Profit & Loss Accounts, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.

Taxation & Complianc:

- Oversee preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns), TDS returns, and Income Tax returns.

- Handle statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments, coordinating with auditors and authorities.

- Keep abreast of changing tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Leadership & Team Management:

- Allocate work effectively, monitor deliverables, and provide training where necessary.

- Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related queries across departments.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Generate MIS reports to support management decision-making.

- Track accounts receivable/payable, monitor aging, and drive timely collections and payments.

- Support strategic decision-making through financial insights and data analysis.

Stakeholder Management:

- Provide accurate financial data to management for business planning.

- Ensure transparency, compliance, and accountability in all financial operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- MBA in finance is required

- Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.

- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws and statutory compliance.

- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Data Validation, etc.).

- Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance

- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
