Description:
Role Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst - Techno-Functional role supports the Global Corporate Investment Accounting (GCIA) team by enhancing investment accounting processes, system efficiency, and data quality. The role leverages automation, analytics, and financial systems expertise to support the accounting lifecycle, strengthen operational controls, and improve reporting accuracy across global investment platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily / Weekly Responsibilities:
- Partner with GCIA and Technology teams to design and deploy automation and analytics solutions.
- Develop and maintain tools using Power Platform, Python, SQL, and Macros to optimize investment accounting and reporting processes.
- Translate accounting and operational requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Provide techno-functional support for investment accounting systems and tools.
- Support daily operational controls, reconciliations, exception reporting, and accounting workflows.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
2. Monthly / Quarterly Responsibilities:
- Support monthly and quarterly accounting close cycles, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, analytical models, and reporting solutions.
- Improve data quality, and workflow automation across GCIA platforms.
- Participate in transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
3. Other Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with managers and cross-functional partners.
- Contribute to cross-departmental projects.
- Maintain SOPs, documentation, and audit support materials.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Required:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Technology.
- Basic understanding of accounting.
- Experience in a techno-functional finance or accounting role.
- Proficiency with Power Platform, Python, SQL, Power BI, Macros, and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Exposure to transformation initiatives in finance.
Preferred:
- Experience in asset management or investment accounting environments.
- Certifications such as Python, SQL.
Work Shift: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST
