Assistant Manager - Content and Copy - D2C
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Creative & Brand Copywriting:
- Write on-brand, culturally aware Instagram captions, storylines, and campaign messages
- Create influencer scripts for product reviews, demos, and UGC briefs
- Develop elevated and SEO-friendly website content, including product descriptions, homepages, and landing pages
- Craft luxury-forward brand stories, taglines, and campaign narratives
Performance & Retention Copy:
- Write performance-optimized ad copy, captions, and scroll-stopping hooks for Meta and Google
- Develop persuasive email content for flows and campaigns (welcome, drops, offers, loyalty)
- Craft conversational, high-converting WhatsApp messages for key moments
- Collaborate on A/B tests for subject lines, hooks, and CTAs to optimize results
Content for Growth Channels:
- Write and manage product listings and branded content for marketplace platforms (e.g., Nykaa, Amazon, Myntra, etc.)
- Develop polished PR copy: brand bios, press releases, editorials, and media kits
- Create thought-led LinkedIn content and brand articles/blogs to drive engagement and authority
- Align tone and structure across all long-form and professional-facing content
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with creative, influencer, growth, PR, and marketplace teams to ensure tone and messaging consistency
- Participate in content planning sessions and campaign brainstorming
- Maintain and evolve a luxury brand tone across every medium
Qualifications:
- 35 years of experience in copywriting, content, or brand storytelling (luxury, D2C, beauty, fragrance, or fashion preferred)
- Experience writing for social, paid media, e-commerce, email, and marketplace platforms
- A sharp sense of tone, voice, and emotional nuanceespecially in premium/luxury contexts
- Strong understanding of performance metrics, A/B testing, and customer journeys
