FPL Technologies - Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a strategic and data-driven FP&A Manager to orchestrate our financial planning and fuel our next phase of growth. In this role, you will move beyond traditional reporting to become a true business partner-owning the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), optimizing unit economics, and crafting the financial narrative for our investors. What you will do:

Strategic Planning & AOP: Spearhead the end-to-end design of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and build dynamic 4-6 year financial roadmaps to support hyper-growth and scalability.

Unit Economics & Cohort Analytics: Lead deep-dive analysis on customer cohorts, monitoring critical fintech metrics (LTV, CAC, Churn) to optimize pricing and maximize long-term profitability.

Performance Monitoring & Variance Analysis: Own the monthly financial review process, presenting rigorous 'Actual vs. Budget' analysis to leadership and driving proactive corrective actions across departments.

Capital Allocation & Treasury: Oversee cash flow forecasting and liquidity runway; evaluate investment decisions and capital projects using robust financial modeling (NPV, IRR, Payback).

Business Case Governance: Act as the financial gatekeeper for new product launches and commercial initiatives, ensuring all business cases meet strict internal hurdle rates before approval.

What are we looking for :

Education: MBA in Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA), or CFA Charterholder.

Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Investment Banking, preferably within a Fintech or SaaS startup.

Fintech Acumen: Strong understanding of lending economics, payment gateways, or subscription models.

Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex financial data into clear, strategic narratives for the Board and non-finance stakeholders.

Technical Mastery:

- Advanced Financial Modeling (3-statement models, scenario analysis).

- Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI) and SQL is a strong plus.

- Experience with planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights) is an added benefit.
