
Key Responsibilities:
- Track emerging technologies, business models, policies, and investment trends across India's energy and power sector.
- Build and maintain a live pipeline of potential ideas, partners, and strategic interventions.
- Identify new opportunities for organizational entry, investment, or scale.
- Assess opportunities based on impact potential, market need, feasibility, and strategic fit.
- Develop business cases, financial models, and program concepts for shortlisted opportunities.
- Define clear scale-up pathways and implementation strategies for promising initiatives.
- Support the design of investment and blended-finance structures to mobilize capital.
- Develop decision notes, strategic presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with government agencies, utilities, investors, innovators, and technical partners.
- Drive new initiatives from concept development through partnership-building and launch.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with 6 - 7 years of relevant experience across energy, climate, consulting, investing, strategy, or infrastructure.
- Open to startup founders/operators who have built or scaled ventures, as well as strong generalists from adjacent sectors.
- Strong understanding of India's renewable energy and power sector.
- Exposure to grids, energy storage, distributed energy, and emerging clean-energy business models.
- Prior experience in market assessment, business modelling, financial analysis, or investment structuring.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and loosely defined problems, with the ability to develop a clear point of view.
- Ability to translate ideas into practical, executable initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication, particularly with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial, curious, and mission-driven, with genuine interest in India's energy transition.
