THE COMPANY:

We are building India's first dedicated institution for finance. Not a general management school with a finance elective, but a purpose-built institution designed for the top tier of talent in banking, financial services, and investing. The curriculum is being co-created with industry leaders, authored by practitioners, and reviewed by an academic council drawn from leading Indian and global institutions. The institution is currently being built in Mumbai, with the inaugural cohort expected in 2027. This is a rare opportunity to help shape an institution from the ground up while many of its defining decisions are still being made.

THE ROLE:

Most work problems don't have a clear owner. Some projects stall not because they're hard, but because nobody is holding the thread. This role exists for someone who finds that situation energising rather than frustrating. You will work across the institution's most important priorities - the ones that are complex, cross-functional, and consequential. Your job is to take something that is unclear or stuck and move it forward until it is done. Not to manage it. To finish it. The work will span research collaborations, industry engagements, operational builds, and strategic problems that don't sit neatly within any one function. What connects them is that each one needs someone who can own it completely.

WHAT YOU OWN:

High-Priority Projects:

- Take the institution's most important cross-functional projects from definition to completion. Build the plan, align the people, and drive it to an outcome.

Operational Builds:

- Identify what is missing before its absence becomes a problem. Design and implement the systems, workflows, and processes that allow the institution to function and scale.

Industry and Academic Engagement:

- Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, financial institutions, and academic partners. Turn conversations into collaborations and collaborations into outcomes.

Problem Ownership:

- Step into situations where progress has stalled and ownership is unclear. Diagnose what is actually wrong, bring structure to it, and see it through.

New Bets:

- When the institution needs to test something new, you build the experiment, run it, and draw the right conclusions from it.

WHO IS THIS FOR:

You are someone who loves closing loops. You have taken something from unclear to done, in an environment where the path was not obvious and the resources were not generous. You may have come from a startup, a high-growth company, or a role that required you to work across functions without the authority that would have made it easier. What matters is that you have a track record of closing the gap between where something is and where it needs to be. You do not need the work to be defined before you begin. You are comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and course-correcting as you go.
