Position: Sales Manager
Location: Jaipur
Department: Sales
Reports to: Director of Sales
Supervises: Catering/Banquet Sales Team
Drive sales and revenue from banqueting and catering business in Jaipur by identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful event execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for catering and banqueting events.
- Generate new business and maintain relationships with key clients in the Jaipur market.
- Prepare custom proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales for social, wedding, and corporate events.
- Conduct site visits, menu presentations, and client meetings; collaborate with culinary and operations teams to deliver seamless events.
- Track sales metrics, prepare reports, and meet pre-determined revenue targets.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and client preferences specific to Jaipur.
- Ensure post-event client follow-up to enhance repeat business and client satisfaction.
- Handle event logistics, maintain accurate records, and oversee compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Mentor and guide the banqueting & catering sales team.
Requirements:
- Master's/Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years proven experience in sales for banqueting and catering.
- Strong knowledge of the Jaipur hospitality market, including local venues, vendors, and client trends.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and account management skills.
- Proficiency with CRM/event management software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities; comfortable managing multiple events simultaneously.
