About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead the sales function, develop and implement sales strategies, and ensure revenue growth across all revenue-generating departments. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership in hospitality sales, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the hotels Sales Strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Align sales initiatives with corporate marketing strategies and ensure effective execution.
- Oversee preparation, update, and implementation of departmental operation manuals.
- Conduct regular sales team meetings and ensure seamless communication across departments.
- Monitor sales activities and maintain accurate systems, booking procedures, and contracts.
- Ensure exceptional guest and client service delivery, handling escalations when necessary.
- Maximise employee productivity through efficient resource planning and scheduling.
- Prepare and manage the Annual Sales & Marketing Plan and departmental budgets.
- Analyse business performance to drive accurate forecasting and decision-making.
- Lead key account management and develop strategies for pricing, sales resource allocation, and inventory control.
- Direct and coordinate selling activities across all revenue streams.
- Ensure all sales proposals, collateral, and communication align with brand standards.
- Represent the company at major trade, travel, and corporate functions for brand promotion.
- Plan and execute domestic and international sales trips based on business priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with WWSOs (World Wide Sales Offices) and key stakeholders.
- Drive recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance development of the sales team.

- Proven experience in hospitality sales with strong track record of revenue growth.
- Strategic thinking with ability to develop and implement long-term sales plans.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.

- Expertise in CRM systems, revenue management tools, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to handle pressure, resolve conflicts, and manage client escalations effectively.
- High level of business networking and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of industry trends, competitor analysis, and market positioning.
