Position: Business Head - Banquet & Catering

Location: Hyderabad

Role Overview:

The Business Head will oversee all banquet and catering operations for a leading hospitality group in Hyderabad, focusing on five-star hotel standards. The incumbent will own the P&L responsibility for the business unit, manage vendor relations, drive team performance, and ensure seamless pre- and post-event execution. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in banquet and catering management, deep F&B expertise, and a successful track record in the Hyderabad hospitality market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end banquet and catering operations, ensuring exemplary guest experiences and adherence to five-star standards.

- Drive business growth through strategic planning, budgeting, and P&L management.

- Oversee the entire lifecycle of events, from client requirement gathering, menu planning, and vendor negotiations to execution and post-event feedback.

- Build and maintain strong vendor networks for sourcing high-quality products and services at competitive rates.

- Foster a high-performance culture within the team, providing ongoing training and mentorship.

- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, HACCP, and quality guidelines across all F&B offerings.

- Directly interact with key clients, resolve escalations, and ensure client satisfaction - throughout the event process.

- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to keep the business innovative and competitive.

- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and culinary teams to maximize revenue and operational excellence.

- Prepare regular reports on financial performance, operational KPIs, and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field; MBA preferred.

- 10-15 years of progressive experience in banqueting and catering operations within five-star hotels.

- Proven P&L owner and business leader with strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

- Deep expertise in F&B management for large-scale, high-profile events.
