
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, and implementing strategic initiatives, especially in transfer pricing and intercompany financial structuring. Preference will be given to candidates with experience from Big 4 firms (PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG).
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning, Reporting & Control:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
- Manage the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
Transfer Pricing & Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and monitor transfer pricing policies across global entities
- Liaise with tax advisors, auditors, and legal teams to ensure transfer pricing documentation is compliant with statutory guidelines
- Lead pricing studies, economic analyses, and benchmarking studies
- Support tax filings, audits, and global tax structuring initiatives
Strategic Finance & Decision Support:
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team
- Develop cost-saving initiatives and assess investment opportunities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Treasury, Cash Flow, and Working Capital Management:
- Manage company liquidity, banking relationships, and intercompany cash flows
- Optimize working capital and capital structure
Audit & Regulatory Compliance:
- Liaise with external and internal auditors
- Ensure all statutory filings (including TDS, GST, income tax, transfer pricing reports) are accurate and on time
- Ensure regulatory compliance in India and relevant overseas jurisdictions
Key Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant
- 4-6 years of experience in core finance roles with strong exposure to Transfer Pricing
- Prior experience at a Big 4 firm (at least 3-5 years preferred)
- Deep understanding of intercompany transactions and international taxation
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Ind-AS, and other regulatory frameworks
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and evolving environment
