Description:
Operations Leadership & Strategy:
- Own end-to-end operational strategy and execution across regions, ensuring alignment with business growth, revenue, margin, and client experience goals
- Translate organizational strategy into scalable operating models capable of supporting multi-city, multi-project growth
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership in driving operational excellence, predictability, and scalability
Project Delivery & Execution Governance:
- Provide executive oversight to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of large-scale interior fit-out projects
- Establish robust review cadence and governance frameworks to proactively identify and resolve execution risks
- Drive adherence to milestones, SLAs, and client commitments across portfolios
P&L Ownership & Financial Stewardship:
- Own city/region-level P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin expansion
- Drive gross margin improvement through strategic vendor partnerships, value engineering, and operational efficiencies
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and billing cycles to ensure financial discipline
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Sales, Design, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Technology
- Ensure execution readiness through integrated planning, capacity management, and resource optimization
- Act as an escalation point to resolve complex, cross-departmental challenges swiftly and decisively
Operational Excellence & Process Transformation:
- Design and institutionalize lean, tech-enabled operational frameworks that scale efficiently
- Drive reduction in turnaround time (TAT) through SOP standardization, automation, and data-driven insights
- Leverage platforms such as Salesforce and ERP systems to enhance transparency, accountability, and performance tracking
People Leadership & Capability Building:
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing leadership bench across operations
- Define organization-wide KRAs, performance metrics, and talent development roadmaps
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Client & Stakeholder Excellence:
- Serve as an executive sponsor for marquee clients and strategic partners
- Lead senior-level engagements with clients, architects, consultants, and vendors
- Ensure superior client experience through proactive communication, governance, and issue resolution
Risk, Quality, Compliance & Governance:
- Establish and enforce QA/QC, HSE, and compliance frameworks across projects and regions
- Anticipate operational and commercial risks; institute preventive and mitigation strategies
- Ensure accuracy and rigor in contracts, documentation, audits, and reporting
Billing, Payments & Revenue Assurance:
- Provide leadership oversight on billing accuracy, collections, and revenue realization
- Strengthen controls to minimize revenue leakage and financial exposure
- Ensure robust MIS and reporting systems for leadership and board visibility
You Bring:
- 1217+ years of progressive leadership experience in interior fit-outs, design & build, real estate, or infrastructure-led operations
- Proven track record of managing large, multi-crore project portfolios with full P&L ownership
- Strong people leader with experience managing large, cross-functional and multi-city teams
- Deep understanding of supply chain strategy, vendor ecosystems, and quality management
- Executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills
- Tier-1 institute alumni (IIT/IIM) preferred
- Strong financial acumen with hands-on exposure to P&L, margins, and cash flow management
