THE ROLE IN ONE LINE:

You are accountable for a region or, depending on company phase, for national delivery. You translate company strategy into operational outcomes, and you produce the leaders who can hold ground without you.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN:

- 1. Regional or national delivery multi-region P&L, schedule, quality, and client outcomes

- 2. DGM leadership coach and develop the next layer of operational leadership; build benches

- 3. Operating system own the Operations playbook, governance model, and continuous improvement agenda

- 4. Strategic client portfolio direct ownership of top-tier enterprise accounts and ecosystem partnerships

- 5. Talent organisation design org structures, drive senior hiring, and own succession at the senior layer

- 6. Cross-functional leadership equal partner to Design, Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain leads

- 7. Strategic initiatives represent Operations in company-wide priorities technology, geography, segment

- 8. Risk and compliance operational, legal, safety, and regulatory accountability for delivery.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

Must-Haves:

- 1. 10+ years specifically in Commercial Design & Build execution (STRICT - industry-fit mandatory)

- 2. Has run regional or national-scale Operations with multi-layer leadership.

- 3. Has produced successful senior leaders below DGMs, AGMs.

- 4. Strong commercial and governance discipline at scale.

- 5. Senior boardroom presence and CXO client management.

- 6. Deep operating maturity has navigated growth, slowdowns, and scale transitions.

Good to Have:

- 1. MBA from a premier institute.

- 2. Cross-geography leadership experience (India and international).

- 3. Exposure to multiple business models D&B, general contracting, fit-out, managed workspace.

- 4. Track record of integrating technology and AI into delivery operations.

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE HARD:

At this level, you are judged less on what you delivered yourself and more on the quality of leadership underneath you. You must be willing to put your strongest reports in front of clients, give them air to operate, and stay out of the way while remaining ready to step in surgically when it actually matters.
