Flipspaces - Deputy General Manager/Assistant General Manager - Design Excellence

We are seeking a visionary DGM/AGM - Design Excellence to lead our design philosophy, elevate creative standards, and drive innovative design solutions across all projects. This role combines strategic leadership, creative foresight, and operational excellence, ensuring FlipSpaces remains at the forefront of interior design trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Leadership:

- Set and maintain the highest design standards across all projects.

- Mentor and inspire design teams, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence.

- Review and approve design concepts to ensure alignment with client objectives and brand identity.

2. Innovation & Trends:

- Identify emerging design trends, materials, technologies, and methods to keep the firm ahead of the curve.

- Champion the integration of sustainable and smart design solutions.

- Develop innovative design frameworks that enhance efficiency, client satisfaction, and visual impact.

3. Strategic Collaboration:

- Collaborate with business development, operations, and project management teams to align design innovation with project feasibility, cost, and timelines.

- Serve as the design authority during client presentations and workshops.

4. Process & Quality Excellence:

- Establish and refine internal design processes, guidelines, and quality control mechanisms.

- Drive continuous improvement in design delivery, from concept to execution.

5. Thought Leadership:

- Represent the firm in industry forums, design awards, and conferences.

- Build the firms brand as a pioneer in design innovation and excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related fields.

- 10-15 years of progressive experience in interior design, with at least 3 years in leadership roles.

- Proven track record of delivering innovative and high-quality design projects across commercial, hospitality, and/or residential sectors.

- Strong understanding of design technologies (BIM, VR/AR, 3D visualization) and emerging materials.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
