Job Title: Business Development - Key Accounts & Events

Company: Flipspaces

Experience: 4+ years

Locations: Mumbai | Bangalore | Delhi NCR

About Flipspaces:

Flipspaces is a design-tech powerhouse reshaping the future of commercial interiors, backed by in-house manufacturing and end-to-end execution capabilities. Fresh off a $50M Series C, we're scaling rapidly across India, the US, and the UAE.

About the Opportunity:

We're expanding two business-critical functions - Key Accounts and Events - and are looking for driven business development professionals across both. When you apply, tell us which track you see yourself in.

Track 1 - Key Accounts:

This track is about building and owning long-term relationships with the ecosystem that drives space discovery and design-build decisions - not one-off deal closing.

- Network and build relationships with key stakeholders - IPCs/DPCs (property consultants), CXOs, Founders - across the design-build and real estate ecosystem.

- Identify, pursue, and onboard high-potential accounts, treating them as long-term growth partners rather than one-time transactions.

- Own account growth end-to-end - repeat business, account mining, and expansion within existing relationships.

- Run ATL/BTL brand activities, lead generation initiatives, and community-building efforts to keep the account pipeline full.

- Troubleshoot and debottleneck internal processes (design, commercial, execution) that slow down large deal conversions.

- Track and own revenue outcomes tied to your accounts - this is a number you're expected to speak to specifically, not a team-level metric.

- Represent Flipspaces directly in senior conversations - comfortable being in the room with CXOs and Founders, not just supporting someone else in it.

Track 2 - Events:

This track is about converting industry presence - events, forums, community activity - into real, trackable business pipeline.

- Build genuine relationships with prospects and senior stakeholders through industry events, forums, and community engagement - not just collecting business cards.

- Own the full lead lifecycle from an event: follow-up, qualification, and conversion into real pipeline.

- Be deliberate about event selection - identify which events are actually worth the time and relationship-building investment, rather than attending everything.

- Track pipeline and revenue specifically tied to event-driven activity, and be accountable for that number.

- Coordinate pre-event, during-event, and post-event execution - this is a hands-on, full-cycle ownership role, not just event-day presence.

- Build and maintain a repeatable system for converting event relationships into long-term business relationships.

- Where relevant, manage or coordinate with other team members working events alongside you, prioritizing where your own time is best spent.

What We're Looking For:

- Graduate/PG from a premier institute.

- 4+ years of experience in business development, account management, or event-led growth.

- Entrepreneurial mindset; startup exposure preferred.

- Comfortable engaging directly with CXOs, Founders, and senior stakeholders.

- Genuine ownership mentality - able to speak specifically to what you personally drove, not just team or company outcomes.
