Lead - Control Tower (US Supply Chain):

Grade: AGM / DGM

Location: Mumbai (partial US - hours overlap)

Reports to: Head - Supply Chain

Team: Leads a team of data analysts and digital transformation managers

Function: US Supply Chain - Control Tower

Role purpose: Run the US supply chain through metrics: own KPIs, dashboards and analytics, flag deviations early, and drive automation, catalogue digitization and end-to-end visibility.

Total Experience: 8-12 years

Key Responsibilities:

KPI ownership and performance:

- Define the supply chain KPI/KRA tree, targets and data definitions, with one source of truth per metric.

- Run weekly and monthly performance reviews; flag deviations (cost, P2P, production, quality, shipment, vendor SLA) and track actions to closure.

Dashboards and analytics:

- Build dashboards for leadership, function heads and project teams.

- Deliver analytics on spend, should-cost vs actual, margin leakage, lead times and supplier risk by country.

- Own management MIS and early-warning alerts.

Traceability and visibility:

- Set up PO-to-site visibility (factory, QC, shipment, customs, delivery) for every business owner.

- Integrate ERP, procurement and logistics data into one view.

Automation and digitization:

- Automate recurring reports and workflows (PO tracking, approvals, vendor onboarding, shipment updates).

- Digitize the product catalogue: Category Master, specs, vendors, prices and lead times.

Governance:

- Define SOPs, approval matrices and data governance; audit PO, GRN, payments and vendor master data.

Team leadership:

- Lead and develop the analytics and digital transformation team; build a data-first culture.

KPIs / KRAs:

- Dashboard coverage: % of KPIs live, automated and accurate

- Deviation detection: % deviations flagged before schedule impact; actions closed on time

- Automation: Manual reporting hours saved; processes automated vs plan

- Catalogue digitization: % of Category Master SKUs fully digitized

- Traceability: % of POs with live end-to-end visibility

- Business impact: Savings or margin leakage identified and recovered

Qualifications and Experience:

- B.E./B.Tech or degree in Statistics/Analytics.

- MBA (Operations or Supply Chain) preferred.

- 8-10 years in supply chain analytics, control tower or PMO roles, including 3+ years leading a team.

- Hands-on experience with automation and digitization projects.

Skills:

- Preferred: Power BI/Tableau, advanced Excel, SQL; Python or low-code tools a plus.

- Automation and digitization: workflow automation, RPA/low-code tools, catalogue and ERP digitization.

- Strong analytical and logical reasoning.

- Supply chain process knowledge and strong data storytelling.

- External: BI/ERP partners, freight forwarders, vendors.
