Location : Mumbai

JOB ROLE :

Responsible for executing trades in fixed income securities, mainly in the Money Market, such as Certificate of Deposits, Commercial Papers and Treasury Bills, to achieve scheme objectives. To monitor market trends, analyze economic indicators, and maintain relationships with brokers and dealers to optimize trade execution.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Assist fund managers in managing fixed income portfolios and executing trades in line with investment objectives.

- Execute trades in money market instruments, and other fixed income securities.

- Monitor macroeconomic developments, interest rate movements, and liquidity trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines during trade execution.

- Maintain accurate trade records and prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, counterparties, and market participants to secure competitive rates and terms.

- Conduct research on fixed income securities, perform credit analysis, and provide insights to support investment decision-making.

- Use financial tools such as Bloomberg and Reuters for market analysis and trade execution.

- Adhere to compliance norms, ensure trade settlements, and manage operational risks effectively.

- Work under pressure while managing multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE :

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

- 5 -10 years of experience in fixed income dealing in asset management or banking.

- Strong understanding of fixed income markets, instruments, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in trading platforms and financial tools.
