What does a successful Product Manager-Payments do:
A successful Senior Product Manager-Payments at Fiserv leads the evolution of our high growth SnapPay SaaS platform, a flagship B2B accounts receivable and payments solution. You translate merchant and middle market customer pain points into a clear product strategy, roadmap, and executable backlog that drives revenue growth, digital order to cash transformation, and differentiated value for our clients. You thrive in a high-volume, high revenue environment, balancing innovation with stability while collaborating across Fiserv to unlock cross sell and upsell opportunities.
What you will do:
- Translate product strategy into detailed epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for multiple Agile Scrum teams.
- Own and manage the product backlog, driving sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous grooming to sustain predictable delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for development teams on business and functional requirements, unblocking teams and maintaining delivery velocity.
- Partner with engineering, QA, UX, solutions, sales, legal, compliance, and marketing to ensure delivery aligns with business needs and user expectations.
- Use strong technical acumen to engage on design, feasibility, integrations, data flows, and API behaviour, making informed product decisions.
- Conduct sprint reviews and stakeholder demos, communicating status, risks, and dependencies clearly and proactively.
- Champion Agile best practices and continuous improvement across teams while maintaining a customer centric, commercially aware mindset.
What you will need to have:
- 10 - 15 years of total experience with 5+ years as a Product Owner.
- Proven success working with multiple Agile Scrum teams.
- Strong skills in requirement gathering, user story writing, backlog management, and functional detailing.
- Should have skills related to a data-driven / quantitative skillset with some BI/analytical background (data analytics; predictive analytics; AI/ML driven models).
- Previous projects in conducting business analysis, designing UI and data visualization modules, and presenting results in structured narratives using presentation tools.
- Experience in B2B payments or financial technology products.
- Ability to understand and manipulate data elements, KPIs, and reporting needs as part of product requirements.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong technical foundation and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Customer centric mindset with good business and commercial understanding.
What would be great to have:
- Experience with API driven platforms, system integrations, and basic application architecture concepts.
- Recognized product or Agile certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe PO/PM.
- Experience delivering products in a high revenue, high volume SaaS environment with strong commercial outcomes.
- Experience leading Agile best practice adoption and coaching teams on product ownership.
