FirstClub - Lead - First Mile & Middle Mile

As the Lead - First Mile & Middle Mile, you will build and scale the backbone that connects farms, manufacturers, brands and suppliers to our dark stores with exceptional reliability, freshness and cost efficiency.

This is not a maintenance role. You will design processes from scratch, build supplier logistics capabilities, improve inventory flow, reduce wastage, and create a world-class inbound supply chain capable of supporting rapid scale.

What You'll Own

1. First Mile Operations

- Build and manage inbound supply from farmers, aggregators, brands and manufacturers

- Design supplier onboarding and inbound operating standards

- Improve supplier fill rates, OTIF (On Time In Full) performance and compliance

- Create scalable inbound scheduling and appointment systems

- Drive freshness and quality compliance across perishables

- Build supplier scorecards and continuous improvement programs

2. Middle Mile Operations

- Design efficient movement of inventory between vendors, central facilities and dark stores

- Optimize transportation routes, fleet utilization and shipment consolidation

- Improve inventory flow while minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory

- Reduce logistics cost per unit while maintaining service levels

- Build scalable replenishment and transfer planning processes

3. Network Planning

- Design future-ready supply chain networks as FirstClub expands cities and categories

- Plan warehouse and dark store replenishment models

- Improve capacity planning during peak demand

- Work with category teams to improve inbound planning and forecasting

4. Process Excellence

- Create SOPs across inbound logistics

- Build operational dashboards and control towers

- Drive automation wherever possible

- Identify bottlenecks and eliminate operational waste

- Improve turnaround times across the supply chain

What We're Looking For:

- 8-12 years of experience in supply chain, logistics or operations

- Experience managing First Mile, Middle Mile or inbound logistics

- Experience in grocery, FMCG, retail, e-commerce or quick commerce preferred

- Experience scaling operations in a fast-growing company is a strong plus
