FirstClub - HR Business Partner - Clubs

At First Club, we are looking for a passionate and execution-focused HR professional to partner closely with on-ground operations teams and drive people excellence across Clubs (Dark Stores).

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The HRBP will be stationed at the Club and work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth people management and HR operations at the ground level. The role will act as the primary HR partner for the Club workforce, driving employee engagement, workforce planning, attendance management, grievance handling, hiring coordination, and adherence to HR policies and compliance processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Act as the first point of contact for all employee-related matters at the Club.

- Manage onboarding, induction, joining formalities, and employee documentation.

- Ensure attendance management, roster adherence, leave tracking, and manpower availability.

- Support payroll inputs and coordinate with central HR teams for employee records and HR operations.

- Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work environment.

- Address employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns.

- Coordinate frontline hiring and support manpower planning for Club operations.

- Partner closely with Club managers to understand workforce requirements and people challenges.

- Ensure adherence to HR policies, compliance standards, workplace discipline, and company culture.

- Maintain employee records and support audits, compliance checks, and HR reporting.

PREFERRED PROFILE & SKILLS:

- 2-5 years of experience in HRBP, HR operations, employee relations, or HR generalist roles.

- MBA in HR or equivalent specialization preferred.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently in a high-energy operational environment.

- High ownership mindset with strong execution orientation.

- Proficiency in Excel and HR systems/tools is an added advantage.

- Prior exposure to retail, warehouse, logistics, or Q-commerce environments preferred.
