
About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Finance - Supply Chain professional with 3 - 6 years of experience to drive cost optimization, productivity improvement, and financial decision-making across our supply chain network.
The role will work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance leadership to optimize costs across warehouses, mother hubs, cold chain, and logistics while supporting business growth.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial modelling, supply chain unit economics, cost optimization, and commercial decision-making. This is a high-impact role that requires a strong analytical mindset, commercial acumen, and the ability to translate complex operational data into clear financial and strategic recommendations.
What You'll Do:
- Lead end-to-end cost optimization initiatives across warehouses, mother hubs, cold chain, and logistics.
- Drive productivity improvements across picking, storage, and inventory movement through process redesign and automation.
- Identify and execute structural cost-reduction opportunities while supporting business and volume growth.
- Evaluate operating models including 3PL, Built-to-Suit, and Multi-Client Facilities and recommend optimal network configurations.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams on capacity planning for warehouses, hubs, and transportation.
- Build data-driven feasibility and decision models for new hub launches, cross-dock versus centralized fulfillment, and city-level expansion.
- Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership with clear financial impact and business rationale.
- Strengthen cost governance frameworks to prevent leakages and ensure accuracy across the supply chain P&L.
- Own contract structuring and support commercial negotiations with logistics and warehousing partners.
- Implement system-based cost provisioning, accruals, and reconciliation mechanisms.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to Supply Chain, Operations, and Central Finance leadership.
- Build and maintain advanced dashboards tracking unit economics, cost per order, capacity utilization, and productivity KPIs.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities across the supply chain and drive corrective actions.
What We're Looking:
- 3 - 6 years of experience in Business Finance, Supply Chain Finance, or a related role.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory, preferably a rank holder.
- Experience in high-growth consumer businesses such as e-commerce, quick commerce, retail, D2C, or logistics.
- Strong exposure to warehousing, logistics, cold chain, or fulfillment economics.
- Advanced financial modelling and scenario analysis skills.
- Deep understanding of supply chain unit economics and cost structures.
- Strong experience in cost optimization and productivity analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with Operations and senior leadership teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong PowerPoint and leadership-ready communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong ownership and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Good to Have:
- Experience working with logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, or cold-chain networks.
- Exposure to 3PL and warehousing commercial models.
- Experience in supply chain network design and capacity planning.
- Experience building automated financial and operational dashboards.
- Exposure to ERP, financial planning, or supply chain management systems.
