Position and Responsibilities:

FIRSTavenue is seeking to hire experienced mid-to-senior level professionals for its global Secondary Advisory and Capital Solutions platform. The role is focused on originating and executing GP-led and LP-led secondary transactions, developing relationships across the private equity ecosystem, and supporting the continued growth of the firm's secondary advisory franchise across India and Asia.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience working on secondary transactions, liquidity solutions, continuation vehicles, structured exits, or broader private markets advisory mandates, along with strong connectivity across GPs, institutional investors, and the regional private equity ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead origination and execution of GP-led and LP-led secondary mandates, including continuation vehicles, portfolio transactions, structured liquidity solutions, and direct transactions

- Develop and manage relationships with private equity sponsors, institutional investors, family offices, and broader private markets participants across India and Asia

- Drive business development initiatives, market mapping, client pitches, and opportunity sourcing across the secondary and capital solutions ecosystem

- Execute mandates end-to-end, including underwriting, valuation analysis, transaction structuring, investor positioning, marketing preparation, diligence coordination, and transaction closing

- Work closely with global teams on transaction strategy, buyer outreach, investor diligence processes, and strategic advisory discussions

- Lead preparation and review of high-quality client materials including teasers, Information Memoranda, valuation materials, track record analyses, and investor communications

- Manage multiple live transactions simultaneously while maintaining strong execution discipline and responsiveness to clients and investors

- Mentor junior team members and contribute to strengthening internal processes, execution frameworks, and the broader growth of the platform

Qualifications and Characteristics:

- 6-10+ years of relevant experience in secondaries advisory, capital advisory, private equity, investment banking, fundraising, or sponsor coverage

- Demonstrated experience working on GP-led and/or LP-led secondary transactions, liquidity solutions, or broader private markets transactions

- Strong relationships across private equity sponsors, institutional investors, and broader private markets participants in India and/or Asia preferred

- Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, secondary transaction dynamics, valuation frameworks, and performance metrics (IRR, TVPI, DPI, MOIC, NAV)

- Commercially oriented, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating independently in a client-facing environment

- Strong financial modelling, analytical, PowerPoint, and presentation skills

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively across geographies within a fast-paced global platform
