Job Title: Head of Marketing & Branding
Role Overview
The Head of Marketing & Branding will be responsible for defining, building, and scaling the overall marketing and brand strategy for Blockmaze. This role will lead all marketing, communications, and brand-building initiatives, owning both strategic direction and hands-on execution.
The ideal candidate will build a high-performance marketing function from the ground up, partner with leadership on growth initiatives, and work closely with agencies and vendors to establish a robust, scalable marketing engine across digital and offline channels.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Define and own Blockmazes overall marketing and brand strategy aligned with business goals
- Establish and evolve the companys brand identity, positioning, and communication guidelines
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints and channels
Campaigns & Execution
- Plan and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels
- Oversee performance marketing, content, creative, and social media strategies
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new products, features, and launches
- Manage website content, product announcements, and marketing collateral
Growth, PR & Partnerships
- Own public relations, media outreach, and thought leadership initiatives
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and creative partners
- Lead event marketing, industry participation, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships
Analytics & Performance
- Define and track key marketing and brand KPIs
- Monitor campaign performance, ROI, and brand health metrics
- Use data insights to optimize marketing strategies and investment decisions
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing in-house marketing team
- Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and execution excellence
Requirements
- 15 - 20 years of progressive experience in marketing and branding leadership roles
- Prior experience in fintech, financial services, technology, or blockchain-related domains
- Strong expertise across both brand marketing and performance/growth marketing
- Proven ability to lead campaigns end-to-endfrom strategy to execution and measurement
- Excellent communication, creative judgment, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated experience managing external agencies and cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Experience in crypto or blockchain marketing environments
- Exposure to compliance-driven or regulated industry communications
