Finplex - Area Credit Manager - Unsecured Loans

Job Description:

- Supervise and guide a team of credit officers/credit managers across multiple branches or locations within the assigned area.

- Review and approve unsecured business loan proposals as per delegated credit authority.

- Ensure adherence to credit policies, underwriting norms, and regulatory guidelines (RBI/NBFC).

- Evaluate complex credit cases, conduct PDs (personal discussions), and make sound credit decisions.

- Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure high-quality business sourcing.

- Maintain TAT (Turnaround Time) while ensuring thorough due diligence and risk assessment.

- Monitor portfolio performance, track early delinquencies, and initiate corrective actions.

- Analyze trends, provide insights, and recommend improvements in credit policy and risk strategies.

- Coordinate with collections, fraud control, and compliance teams as needed.

- Conduct training and capacity-building sessions for credit and sales staff.
