Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive resourcing plans to effectively meet project deliverables and organizational goals.
- Strategically leverage a blend of internal talent, third-party contractors, and external partners to ensure optimal project staffing and flexibility.
Forecasting & Financial Alignment:
- Collaborate closely with Operations and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of resource revenue forecasting.
- Identify potential gaps or surpluses in resource availability and proactively develop solutions.
Performance Optimization & Health:
- Conduct regular practice reviews to assess the health, performance, and delivery of projects from a resource perspective.
- Provide actionable recommendations and drive initiatives to enhance project success and operational efficiency.
Talent Alignment & Utilization:
- Ensure optimal alignment of staff to project deliverables, focusing on increasing utilization rates across the Global Services workforce.
- Drive continuous improvement in project margins by strategically assigning work to the most cost-effective resources.
- Promote and implement better forward planning practices to anticipate future resource needs and challenges.
Workforce Planning & Analysis:
- Lead the planning and analytical efforts for the Global Services workforce, developing strategic staffing models.
- Create dynamic staffing plans that proactively account for anticipated increases or decreases in demand and capacity.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in resource management, workforce planning, or talent allocation within a [relevant industry, e.g., professional services, technology, consulting] environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex resource allocations across multiple projects or departments.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in resource management software and advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on long-term workforce sustainability.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Plan and analyze work for Global Services workforce developing staffing plans factoring increases or decreases.
