About the Role
We are looking for a professional to join the Financial Reporting team with a primary focus on Financial Reporting and Related Party Transactions (RPT). The role involves managing end-to-end financial reporting, supporting group consolidations under Ind AS, and ensuring accurate tracking and disclosure of Related Party Transactions across multiple legal entities. This position offers the opportunity to work in a complex, multi-entity environment while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Ind AS Compliance
- Prepare standalone financial statements and disclosure notes in accordance with Ind AS applicable to NBFCs.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Group Consolidation & Related Party Transactions
- Execute the financial consolidation process across multiple legal entities.
- Identify, track, reconcile, and eliminate intercompany balances and transactions.
- Ensure accurate identification, accounting, and disclosure of Related Party Transactions (RPTs).
Management & Board Reporting
- Support the preparation of financial reports, variance analysis, and presentation decks for senior management, the Board of Directors, and regulatory reporting.
Audit Coordination
- Act as the key point of contact for internal and external auditors.
- Provide supporting documentation, resolve audit queries, and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
General Ledger Controls & Documentation
- Perform General Ledger (GL) reviews and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate documentation to support financial reporting and audit requirements.
Process Improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional finance teams to standardize accounting and reporting processes.
- Drive consistency in reporting practices and improve overall data quality.
Automation & System Enhancements
- Support finance transformation initiatives by identifying manual reporting inefficiencies.
- Participate in ERP enhancement projects, system testing, and automation of financial reporting processes.
Candidate Requirements
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Financial Reporting or Audit.
- Strong hands-on experience with Related Party Transactions (RPTs).
- Experience working within large listed organizations with multiple legal entities is highly preferred.
Education
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- CA or MBA (Finance) preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS and financial reporting.
- Experience in financial statement preparation and group consolidation.
- Sound understanding of Related Party Transaction accounting and disclosure requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and stakeholder management abilities.
