Financial Planning & Analysis Role - Manufacturing - CA

The role involves analyzing business and financial performance, including profitability, cost structures, and ROI. The incumbent will prepare budgets, forecasts, financial models, and MIS to support management decision-making, monitor performance against budgets and KPIs, and analyze variances. The position requires providing actionable financial insights to business leaders, preparing timely management reports and dashboards, and conducting ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of business operations, including profitability, cost structure, and return on investment.

- Prepare financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.

- Analyze financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.

2. Financial Planning & Strategy:

- Develop and implement financial plans for various business units.

- Monitor financial performance against budget and identify variances. Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budget adherence.

- Provide financial insights & recommendation to support to business leaders.

- Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitor financial performance.

3. Reporting:

- Prepare accurate and timely management reports, including monthly and quarterly MIS, forecasts based on business trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and metrics to track key performance indicators.

4. Ad-hoc Analysis:

- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as needed to support business initiatives and decision-making.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

- Qualified CA with 3-5 years of experience in a Finance Role in a corporate or business environment preferably in a Listed Company.

- Expertise in Business Financing, Financial Analysis and MIS.

- Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to drive business results.

- Proficiency in ERP (Preferably SAP) and advanced Excel skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information clearly.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail and accuracy.
