Financial Planning & Accounting Professional - FinTech/NBFC - CA

About the Role

We are looking for a detail- oriented and analytical finance professional to join the FP&A and Accounting team. The role will focus on managing financial operations, driving reporting accuracy, and supporting strategic financial planning within a dynamic financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Operations

- Manage daily financial operations including payments, vendor settlements, and reconciliations

- Oversee General Ledger (GL) review, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

- Handle banking operations, including fund transfers and coordination with banks

- Maintain and monitor treasury accounting activities

Reconciliations & Controls

- Perform periodic bank, vendor, and inter- company reconciliations

- Ensure strong internal controls and adherence to financial policies

- Identify discrepancies and drive resolution in a timely manner

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

- Prepare monthly management reports with key insights and actionable recommendations

- Support leadership with financial analysis for business decision- making

Reporting & Compliance

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

- Collaborate with auditors and support audit requirements

- Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling

- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)

- Analytical mindset with attention to detail

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Profile

- Qualified CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute

- 3- 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A and accounting roles

- Prior experience in financial services / fintech industry is an advantage
