Job Titel: Financial Planning Analyst

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a motivated finance professional to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The role encompasses budgeting, forecasting, portfolio analytics, and performance reporting for our NBFC business. The incumbent will collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive profitability, optimize asset quality, and enhance capital efficiency.

The team also manages relationships with rating agencies and is responsible for maintaining and improving the Company's issuer ratings. Beyond core FP&A responsibilities, the role extends to special projects as part of the CEO's Office - contributing to strategy formulation and supporting execution of key organizational initiatives.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Budgeting & Forecasting

- Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans aligned with overall business strategy.

- Build and maintain robust financial models covering loan book growth, yield/NIM, credit costs (ECL), and operating expenses.

- Review and stress-test key assumptions; provide deep-dive analysis and actionable recommendations to enhance forecast accuracy and reliability.

- Analyse variances between actuals, budgets, and forecasts; proactively identify risks, opportunities, and corrective measures for management action.

Performance Reporting & MIS

- Prepare high-quality monthly and quarterly performance decks for management and Board review.

- Support automation of recurring reports and financial processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time.

Rating Agency & External Stakeholders

- Manage continuous engagement with rating agencies through quarterly presentations, structured data submissions, and regular communication.

- Conduct industry, peer, and benchmark analysis to support rating positioning and strengthen the Company's credit narrative.

- Prepare structured credit presentations and investor communication materials, including ratings rationale documentation and outlook commentary.

CEO's Office / Special Projects

- Support the CEO's Office on ad hoc strategic projects by managing timelines, driving follow-ups, and ensuring timely execution of key deliverables.

- Coordinate cross-functionally with teams including Treasury, Credit, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to deliver integrated and well-rounded analytical outputs.



QUALIFICATIONS

- CA / MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.

- 1-3 years of relevant work experience; prior exposure to the NBFC or banking sector preferred.

- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (RBI guidelines) and financial reporting standards (Ind AS) will be a distinct advantage.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

- Strong expertise in financial statement analysis, accounting, and key business performance metrics.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modelling) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations).

- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

- Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines consistently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- High degree of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and adaptability in a dynamic regulatory and business environment.
