Financial Modelling Role
Job purpose:
- Play a pivotal role in supporting the financial growth and success of innovative electric vehicle (EV) company, with a strong emphasis on safety and sustainability.
- You will build and maintain robust financial models to inform strategic decision-making, attract investors, and secure loans.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models in Excel, incorporating advanced features like macros and data tables.
- Create business models that forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability, considering the unique aspects of the EV industry and our commitment to safety and sustainability.
- Build investor models tailored to present our company's financial potential to potential investors.
- Construct lender models to support loan applications, ensuring they meet financial institutions' requirements.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of market fluctuations and strategic changes on our financial performance.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, government regulations, and environmental considerations in the EV space.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing) to understand their needs and ensure models reflect their input.
- Communicate complex financial data clearly and concisely to both technical and non technical audiences.
- Understanding on the contractual terms of the concession agreements/ other agreements and financial obligations of various parties.
- Maintaining Banking relationship
- Negotiating with banks on the sanction terms, financing agreements and compliance on the stipulated conditions.
Experiences and Skills required:
- 3+ years of experience in financial modeling, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, macros, and data visualization tools (e.g., pivot tables, charts).
- Experience building financial models for business plans, investor presentations, and loan applications.
- In-depth understanding of financial concepts (e.g., discounted cash flow analysis, valuation methods).
- Understanding on contractual agreements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
