A fast-growing renewable energy company is looking to hire a Financial Modelling Expert / Project Finance Associate with 3-4 years of relevant experience. The role will focus on financial modelling, debt raising, lender coordination, transaction support, and SPV-level execution for renewable energy projects.

This is a high-ownership role for candidates who want hands-on exposure to project finance and live transactions. Similar renewable finance roles often involve working with banks, financial institutions, advisors, and internal leadership across the full debt lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain detailed project finance models for solar, wind, hybrid, or other renewable energy projects.

- Work on debt raising activities including lender presentations, financial analysis, and data room support.

- Coordinate with banks, NBFCs, investors, legal teams, technical consultants, and internal stakeholders during transaction execution.

- Support structuring and review of financing proposals, term sheets, and transaction documents.

- Manage SPV-level financial analysis, funding requirements, and transaction readiness. SPVs are widely used in renewable energy financing to ring-fence project assets and liabilities.

- Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, IRR, DSCR, and return-based evaluations for projects

and funding structures.

- Prepare investment notes, internal memos, MIS, and management presentations.

- Support end-to-end execution of financing transactions and refinancing opportunities.

Candidate Profile:

- MBA in Finance with 3-4 years of experience in financial modelling, project finance, transaction advisory, or debt syndication.

- Strong experience in Excel-based financial modelling and project cash flow analysis.

- Exposure to debt raising, lender interactions, due diligence, and financial closure processes.

- Understanding of SPVs, debt documentation, and project finance structures.

- Prior experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, power, or energy advisory will be preferred.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and execution skills.
