Job Title: Financial Due Diligence Head
Location: Bangalore
Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our Financial Due Diligence practice with a strong focus on domestic transactions and business development. This dual-role opportunity combines deep analytical expertise in evaluating mergers and acquisitions with strategic leadership in identifying and driving new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Due Diligence and Analysis:
- Lead due diligence for domestic transactions using established methodologies.
- Analyze financials to assess target companys performance and key drivers.
- Identify risks (e.g., revenue recognition, liabilities, abnormal expenses).
- Review working capital, cash flow, and capex trends.
- Collaborate with tax/legal teams to assess implications.
- Perform ratio/trend analysis and benchmarking.
- Develop financial models to project transaction impact.
Business Development:
- Drive new business in financial due diligence for domestic deals.
- Build and maintain client and partner relationships.
- Attend events and forums to grow the firms visibility.
- Work with marketing teams to develop lead generation strategies.
- Deliver engaging presentations and proposals.
- Stay updated on industry and competitor trends.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 1015 professionals.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to deadlines.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive work culture.
- Conduct performance reviews and support career growth.
Reporting & Recommendations:
- Prepare insightful and client-friendly due diligence reports.
- Clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on risks and opportunities.
- Assist with post-transaction integration planning.
Thought Leadership & Improvement:
- Stay current on regulations, trends, and best practices.
- Contribute to tool development and internal knowledge sharing.
- Participate in internal trainings and methodology updates.
Requirements
- CA Qualified.
- 10+ years of experience in FDD, Transaction Advisory, or similar roles (domestic focus preferred).
- Proven leadership of teams (1015 members).
- Strong financial analysis, accounting, and modeling skills.
- Excellent client relationship and project management abilities.
- High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage own P&L and client delivery timelines.
- Knowledge of the Real Estate market is a plus.
- Handle critical client issues and drive resolutions in complex or ambiguous scenarios.
