Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our Financial Due Diligence team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in evaluating the financial and operational health of target companies in the context of mergers, acquisitions, investments, or other strategic transactions. This role involves deep financial analysis, identifying key value drivers and risk areas, and supporting deal execution through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead or support financial due diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side transactions.

- Analyze target companies' historical and projected financial performance, quality of earnings, working capital, debt and debt-like items, and other key financial metrics.

- Identify financial risks, deal issues, and value drivers that impact transaction decisions and valuations.

- Assist in preparing client deliverables including detailed due diligence reports and executive summaries.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, legal, operations, and integration teams during deal execution.

- Build and review financial models to support valuation and sensitivity analysis.

- Participate in management meetings, Q&A sessions, and data room reviews.

- Monitor industry trends, benchmarks, and financial performance metrics relevant to transaction targets.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

- CPA, CA, CFA, or MBA preferred

- 2-6 years (Analyst/Associate) of experience in financial due diligence, audit, M&A advisory, investment banking, or private equity.

- Prior experience with Big Four Transaction Services or boutique M&A advisory is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong financial analysis and accounting knowledge, especially around IFRS/GAAP.

- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.

- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

- Strong communication skills - ability to interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

- Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving capabilities.

- Understanding of deal processes, purchase agreements, and post-deal integration is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in private equity transactions, cross-border deals, or sector-specific due diligence (e.g., tech, healthcare, manufacturing).

- Experience working in a fast-paced consulting or advisory environment.
