Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Consolidation

- Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple entities in compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.

- Ensure timely, accurate, and insightful financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis for management and board reporting.

- Work with local finance teams to ensure consistent and accurate bookkeeping, invoicing, revenue recognition (following ASC 606 / IFRS 15), and expense control across geographies.

2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Planning

- Drive the group-wide budgeting and forecasting process in partnership with business heads.

- Develop rolling forecasts, scenario planning, and business performance reviews to support strategic decision-making.

- Provide financial insights and actionable recommendations to optimize revenue, profitability, and cost efficiency.

3. Internal Controls, Compliance & Risk Management

- Implement and monitor robust financial controls aligned with IT industry best practices.

- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, corporate regulations, transfer pricing guidelines, and cross-border intercompany transactions.

- Liaise with external auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits, ensuring timely closure and issue resolution.

4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

- Manage global cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support IT services delivery and operational continuity.

- Optimize intercompany funding structures, foreign currency management, and global tax-efficient repatriation of funds.

- Manage banking relationships, cash pooling, and foreign exchange risks.

5. Taxation & Transfer Pricing

- Oversee indirect and direct tax compliance (corporate tax, VAT/GST, withholding taxes).

- Manage transfer pricing documentation and compliance for intercompany service charges and royalties across jurisdictions.

- Coordinate with external tax advisors on complex tax matters and filings.

6. Mergers, Acquisitions & Expansion Support

- Support M&A transactions by providing due diligence analysis, financial modeling, and integration planning.

- Monitor performance of acquired entities post-integration and align processes with group policies.

- Evaluate investment cases for new geographies, service offerings, or partnerships.

7. Technology & Process Automation

- Drive the adoption of finance automation tools

- Implement standardized and automated financial processes to reduce manual work, improve data accuracy, and accelerate closing cycles.

8. Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team across different countries.

- Ensure proper training and upskilling of local finance teams on corporate policies, tools, and industry-specific practices.

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.

9. Strategic Business Partnering

- Collaborate with IT Services Leadership, Delivery Heads, and Sales to provide commercial and financial insights.

- Analyse project profitability, utilization rates, billing efficiencies, and cost structures.

- Support pricing decisions and contractual reviews from a financial perspective.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.

- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in finance roles, with at least 5 years in a multinational IT Services or Technology organization.

- Strong experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, tax compliance, transfer pricing, treasury, and internal controls in a global context.

- Proven exposure to ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition rules.

- Experience in managing statutory and regulatory compliance across multiple countries (e.g., India, USA, Europe).

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally etc..).

- Strong knowledge of industry-specific financial KPIs: billable utilization, project margin, realization, etc.
