Financial Controller - NBFC

The Financial Controller, will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, Taxation, budget, and forecasts preparation, as well as in the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities:

- Manage all accounting operations, including managing accounting records, managing and evaluating risk.

- Manage compliance with regulations, publishing of financial statements and overseeing accounting operations.

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Lead planning and ensuring compliance with applicable Corporate and Commercial Tax Regulations including computations, deposit, returns & filings. and Tax Audit

- Dealing with Tax authorities including assessments, appeals etc.

- Should be adept at analyzing data, monitor expenditure, forecast revenue.

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

- Support month-end and year-end close process

- Managing internal and external audits for the company including Tax Audit. Coordinate auditing processes and ensure accuracy of financial information.

- Monitor cash flows to ensure healthy liquidity with effective cash flow forecasting, FP&A, planning and monitoring.

- Evaluate and monitor risks, upgrade Controls with regards to the operations of the Company on an ongoing basis, factoring statutory/RBI regulations, legal, secretarial, and other regulations, and inputs from auditors.

- Work with the CFO on the Annual Operating Plan and be responsible for the analysis of budget to actual on monthly basis and suggest corrective actions, as necessary.
