Financial Controller - Multi Geo - IT Services/Big4

We're partnering with a mid-sized IT Services firm on a high-impact mandate: to find a Global Financial Controller who's ready to architect a future-ready finance function for a fast-scaling, data-led organization. This role will manage multi-Geo Ops US, UK, Canada, Middle East and work towards making the company IPO-Ready.

Please note: To be considered for this role, candidates must have experience managing multi-geo operations and have been involved in preparing an organization for IPO readiness.

This isn't just another controller role.

You'll work closely with the CFO and executive leadership, shaping the financial backbone of a company with global presence-and IPO in sight.

What you'll own:

- Full global controllership across multiple legal entities

- Month-end close, audit, intercompany and statutory reporting

- Ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and strong internal controls

- Finance tech stack upgrades: ERP, automation, analytics

- Strategic support on M&A due diligence, integrations, and global expansion

- Design IPO-ready systems and SOX-like controls

- Drive tax compliance & transfer pricing across geographies.

What we're looking for:

- CA or CPA, 15-20 years in finance, accounting, and global controllership

- Deep expertise in US GAAP, ASC 606, and multi-entity operations

- Experience in Big 4 audit, IPO prep, or M&A a strong plus

- A builder mindset: you've set up scalable finance systems from scratch

- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution style and sharp leadership
