Financial Controller - Manufacturing/Pharma Sector - CA

Position: Financial Controller

Organization: Manufacturing / Pharma

Location: Gurgaon

Reporting: CFO

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Reporting & Close

- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP as applicable)

- Drive consolidation and group reporting requirements

- Controllership & Compliance

- Establish and strengthen internal controls, policies, and SOPs

- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements

- Liaise with auditors (statutory, internal, tax) for smooth audits and closure

- Business Partnering

- Work closely with business and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.

- Support decision-making through variance analysis and performance tracking

- Planning & Analysis

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles

- Monitor actuals vs budget and drive corrective actions

- Cash Flow & Working Capital

- Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization

- Oversee AR/AP cycles and treasury operations

- Process Improvement & Automation

- Drive ERP improvements, automation, and finance transformation initiatives

- Enhance efficiency and accuracy of finance processes

- Team Management

- Lead and mentor finance team members

- Build a high-performance controllership function

Ideal Profile:

- Qualified CA with 8 - 15 years of experience, currently in a Financial Controller capacity

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP)

- Experience in manufacturing / MNC environment preferred

- Prior experience in handling audits, consolidations, and internal controls
